Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VigorEcon EduPlatform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

VigorEcon EduPlatform is a cloud-based school management suite providing student records, attendance, grading, report cards, finance management, parent communication, and analytics for schools in Ghana and West Africa.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password
• You must change your temporary password on first login
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify your school administrator immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to access data you are not authorized to view
• Share your login credentials with others
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Platform's security
• Use the Platform to send spam or abusive messages
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy. The school is the data controller; VigorEcon acts as a data processor.

6. Subscription and Fees

The Platform is provided under a subscription model. Fees, billing cycles, and plan features are agreed separately with your school. Invoices are payable per the agreed terms. Failure to pay may result in account suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, and content, is the property of VigorEcon Analytics Ltd. and is protected by intellectual property laws. Schools retain ownership of all data they enter into the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

VigorEcon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the school in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription with written notice. Upon termination, the school may export their data. VigorEcon will retain data per the Data Retention Policy, then delete it.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
